Libby Brockhoff has a completely unique view concerning the line between advertising and culture. Art, culture and commerce mix in her mind to form an approach that transcends conventional advertising practice. As one of the four founding partners, and namer, of Mother PLC in London at age 27, she was both Head of Art and architect of the agency's image, which leaned toward the principles of the MOMA rather than Madison Avenue. The company rose from market obscurity to Campaign's Agency of the Year in just 36 months. She's won many industry awards but refuses to talk about that because her mother taught her not to brag.
